File and brief
Language pair, purpose of the document, and any receiving-body requirements.
The sequence is the same for Basic and Priority. Priority only changes the scheduling of the linguist and reviewer. Confidentiality applies as soon as the source file is received.
Select Basic (£179.99) for a standard timetable, or Priority (£189.99) where a deadline is already fixed. If you are unsure which applies, send a short description of the file and the date it is needed via the contact form before you pay.
Provide the original file (or a complete, legible scan), the source and target languages, and any constraints: glossary, preferred spellings of names, jurisdiction, or whether a translator’s certificate is required. Incomplete or illegible scans delay the work and are not a defect in the translation.
The file is assigned to a linguist working into their native language, with relevant subject experience. A reviewer is lined up for the second pass. You will not be copied on internal assignment notes.
The linguist translates the full instructed text. The reviewer checks completeness, names, figures, omissions, and register. If a passage in the source is genuinely ambiguous, we raise a written query rather than guess.
The completed file is returned electronically. Unless otherwise agreed, the source file is left unchanged. You should check names, dates, and figures on receipt and raise any factual mismatch promptly.
If you decide not to proceed, request a refund within fourteen days of purchase. No explanation is required. The full instruction fee is returned by the original payment method. See the refund policy.
