What we translate.

Each instruction is scoped to a language pair, a document type, and a receiving audience. The linguist is selected for subject matter as well as language. A second reader checks the file before it is released to you.

01

Document translation

General commercial papers, internal reports, board packs, policies, and correspondence. Layout is retained where the source file allows (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and tagged PDF). We flag untranslatable graphics or scans that would otherwise degrade quality.

Typical volume: letters, packs of up to several thousand words, and supporting annexes submitted with the principal file.

02

Certified translation

Civil-status documents, identity papers, academic transcripts, professional licences, and bank or address evidence. Where the receiving body requires a translator’s statement, we issue a signed certificate of accuracy with the completed file.

You remain responsible for confirming that the receiving authority accepts a professionally certified translation (as opposed to a court-sworn translator in a specific jurisdiction).

03

Legal translation

Contracts, articles, powers of attorney, pleadings, disclosure, settlement papers, and regulatory correspondence. Legal meaning is not “simplified”. Defined terms, recitals, and numbering are kept aligned with the source.

If you supply a glossary or a preferred rendering of party names, it is applied throughout the file.

04

Medical and pharmaceutical

Discharge summaries, trial documentation, informed-consent forms, IFUs, and pharmacovigilance text. Clinical claims are translated, not interpreted. Drug names, dosages, and units are checked against the source.

05

Technical translation

Manuals, bills of materials, safety instructions, software strings, and specifications. The finished text should be usable on the shop floor or in the field. Warnings and mandatory language are not softened.

06

Localisation

Websites, applications, help centres, and marketing sites adapted for a named market. Date formats, currency, address forms, and tone of address are adjusted. We can work from resource files, HTML, or exported copy decks.

07

Financial and corporate

Accounts narratives, investment summaries, KYC packs, and shareholder communications. Figures, entity names, and statutory headings are preserved exactly as presented in the source.

08

Marketing and brand

Campaign copy, product sheets, and presentations. The brief may call for a closer or a looser register; we will not invent claims that are absent from the source.

Quality

What “reviewed” means in practice.

Linguist assignment

Work is given to a translator working into their native language, with relevant subject experience. We do not use unreviewed machine output as a deliverable.

Second-pass review

A reviewer checks completeness, numbers, names, omissions, and register. Queries are raised with you only where the source is genuinely ambiguous.

Confidentiality

Source files are treated as confidential client material. Access is limited to staff and linguists engaged on the instruction. See the privacy policy.

File return

Delivery is electronic. We return the target file in a practical format and, on request, a clean PDF for filing. Source files are not altered.
